Firefighters typically are thought of as brave men and women who rush into fires to save lives, cut through twisted metal to free accident victims from their vehicle and teach kids to stop, drop and roll.

But the family of 9-day-old Preslee Rene' Blakeney sees the Station 8 crew as angels for their kindness, thoughtfulness and for their compassion in Preslee's death and for their offer to help with funeral expenses.
