Christian community I am desperately asking for your prayers for Kilgore College and all of the students, faculty (new and old) and the health and safety of the community in and around our area. There has been tremendous, on-going, activity over the course of about a year and a half that has truly created an unsafe, unprofessional and ungodly environment for our community, and I ask for many prayers as we approach some very integral days ahead of us that will determine the trajectory of this course. Lord, we ask that you change the hearts of those causing strife and stirring up dishonesty and threats. We ask that you penetrate the hearts of those who are to unbiasedly evaluate the situation and I pray your will be done in all this, Lord. I ask that you strengthen those who stand up and fight for what is right and shield them from the wicked attempts being made to defame and demoralize their character. Lord, I ask that you help us all evaluate our souls and reach out to you individually in prayer for guidance and strength in all of this. Ultimately, I pray that you protect the community and the students involved and your love and everlasting peace flow freely throughout the remainder of this process. I ask that you allow the truth to be clearly communicated and that you allow the depths, the gravity and severity of this situation to come to full light. Lord, be with us in these days, we thank you for your love, protection, and strength. We thank you for the ability to reach out to you in times like these for a soft place to land and reground ourselves, Lord. And we thank you for the grace you show us every day. We thank you for the courage to stand up for what honors you even when it looks impossible, and fear sets in, Lord. We ask all of this in Jesus' name, amen.
