I work in the oil and gas industry and 2020 really hurt. I've worked 2 small jobs since July and for the first time in 3 years since I bought my place here in Montalba, I couldn't pay my mortgage. On the last job that lasted months, I made way less, taking a job that I could pay some bills with. I met a great new friend that has helped restore my faith in Jesus. I think he put me in her path for a reason. I also met a preacher at a store in Baytown, Texas, on my way to work one morning. Days before I was crying and praying and apologizing to Jesus for slacking off and asking him to send me a sign he was listening. Then the following Monday, I came across this man that began speaking to me on my way out of the store. He looked at me and said "Ma'am, I don't know you but I know you are struggling, I can feel it." We walked outside and I was already in tears because this man could see it. He asked if he could do something for me and I said sure. He began singing to me in the parking lot and I was crying like a baby. He was my answer that God was listening to my prayers! I hugged him so tight and we both were in tears. He turned out to be a pastor at a local church there. Well, at work, my foreman came out and threatened my job because of here say. Someone told her i was talking bad about her and I wasn't. She and I were friends before this job. I learned she wasn't a true friend. But God put me there to meet my new friend, Vicki. She would tell me scripture and helped me. Now, I'm jobless, but all this has restored my faith and brought me closer to Jesus again.

Please can you pray that God will bless me with employment to pay my bills and be financially stable again. I have faith that he will. Please pray for me to keep my faith and stay right with him and gain a good paying job.
