July 24th Evening Show Recap

A big praise to God above tonight! Early in the show I talked about an Amber Alert of a 5-year-old-boy from the Seabrook area who was taken by his father and seen in Houston. Thankfully and prayerfully the boy was found, unharmed, and is back with his mother tonight as his father faces charges. I think the biggest prayer needed now is that God changes the father’s life in powerfully positive ways, if he let’s Our Father in.

Some more that went on in tonight’s show:

Coffee Surprise

*For one of my friends, Ashton, breakfast is the best food-time of all! If she could have breakfast for every meal (and not get burnt out of it), she would. For you on the other hand, breakfast could be skipped quite a bit. Turns out, skipping breakfast can do you and I more harm then just our stomachs rumbling in the middle of a morning meeting. Research is showing that those who skip breakfast are increasing their chances of a heart attack! Anybody want some yogurt and a banana in the morning?

*Prayers are being asked for the families and friends of 3 Firefighters who were injured while fighting some fires earlier today in Henderson County. All are looking to make a full, well recovery, but prayers are appreciated.

*Sweet Tea is on the horizon…and it’s FREE. Tomorrow is Free Sweet Tea Day at McAlister’s, and all you have to do is walk in and ask–no coupon or purchase necessary.
