For King & Country No Turning Back – Story behind the album

Pretty powerful story behind the new album No Turning Back by For King & Country. It’s timely today with the brutal Christian persecution going on in the Middle East. The guys posted the back story on Instagram today, saying it was written 100 percent in the back of a tour bus, and inspired by an 1880’s Welsh missionary family who was sent to the particularly brutal village in the Indian province of Assam. After a native family announced belief in Jesus, the village leaders determined to make an example out of the missionary. The children first, and then the wife were executed by archers in front of the husband. When given another chance to save his own life, the man refused, announcing “I have decided to follow Jesus, and there is no turning back.” The man followed his family into glory… The band says, “Let us all be bold, step up and stand out.

The full album is due out in 12 days.
