I have a friend who is going through radiation treatment after having a double mastectomy and chemo for two types of breast cancer. She is in her early 30s and a mother of 2. Her daughter is a freshman at TJC and her son is in 7th grade, I believe. Her name is Monica. She has worked through chemo and her surgery recovery but yesterday, she found out after the 1st of the year, she will no longer have a job or insurance. She is going through this journey of cancer and not once has she let anything take her smile or her faith in God. She is a blessing to all and needs our prayers. She doesn't know what the future holds but she knows who has it all planned out. God is with her. I wish I had known all this before the closing date of the Christmas Encouragement because she deserves it. But I know she appreciates your prayers and so do I. She is truly a wonderful woman and mom who tries so hard for her kids and keeps smiling and praising God. Monica is a blessing and an inspiration. Thank you.

I received a job offer but it's contigent on verifying all my past employment. Some of those employers might be unresponsive or difficult to contact, so I'm concerned. If things go awry, I'll have to start my job search all over again.

Please pray for my family and I, we are like most people hurting this year. I have had 2 strokes in the past 6 months and my wife is barely getting to work 4hrs maybe 2 days a week if that. We have 2 beautiful little girls 6 and 5 yrs old and a wonderful 2 yr old son. We are unable to make ends meet and are on the verge of losing our home and vehicle and are unable to buy Christmas for our babies this year. We don’t have any family to lean on for help and nowhere to turn. We stay in constant prayer for we know our dear Heavenly Father is ever so faithful… we greatly appreciate all the prayers we can get in this time and thank you…. Holmen family
