I am requesting prayer for myself...that is rare for me. I am struggling with my faith even as I see his wonderful work with my sons life. I truly believe in the power of prayer... I feel so discouraged with my health issues, my financial issues, my poor house that needs a roof so bad (no insurance) and struggling to forgive someone that has caused a lot of hurt in my family. I know I need to forgive but it is so hard when she continues to do the same thing over and over... nothing changes in her life. Prayers that she opens her eyes and heart to the hurt she is causing her babies. May God continue to watch over all His children..... Thanking each one that prays in advance..... All things are possible with God....

I recently was made eligible to get assistance from a job program. I ask that you pray that if this is not his will for God to close the door. But if so, that He help me to receive the right help I need, to help me prosper in receiving the help, and doing my part, and that I find the job God sees fit for me, and for me to focus on Him and his will all the while I seek assistance through this job program and eventually having a job.

A dear friend's son-in-law, Alex, is only 30 years old and has been in the hospital for over three months. He has Type-2 Diabetes, which has taken a toll on his body. Alex is literally a skeleton with skin covering his bones! He has had to have his left leg amputated just above the knee and is awaiting a prosthetic to be able to walk. He has lost his job due to this illness; so, his wife must continue to work. She works 40 hours a week and gets up at 4:30 or 5 a.m. to get their two young girls (7 and 11) ready and to school. After work, she takes the girls to her father-in-law to care for them so she can be with her husband in the hospital until 9 or 10 at night. Then, she picks up the girls, gets them home and fed, if necessary, and to bed. Then, her day begins all over again.
Alex needs all our prayers as does his wife and his girls.

Please lift my family in your prayers and especially my son. Please pray that God will spiritually uplift my son, mentally and emotionally protect him. I know that it's in God's control with what we are going through however as a parent I'm having a hard time with it.
