This past year has been a whirlwind of emotional /mental up and downs. As a parent we want to protect our children at all cost. Well we can't keep our children small forever and one day they have to grow up. I never knew as a parent, I would be battling emotionally and mental situations when my kids became adults. I am the type of person that doesn't like to be vulnerable towards people and show my emotions. My son made a decision that last year that has affected his future as far as the present season. I am battling with my faith through the situation and I don't want to waiver. I am worried about my son's faith as well because of what he is going through. I know God has a purpose for all of this and I have to surrender to him. I'm having a hard time surrendering because I want to fix it but being the stubborn person I am I keep taking it back. Please pray for my son and I during this season that we truly rely on God and surrender all of our burdens on him.
