Kids change so quickly. Don’t miss it!

We are blessed to see our grandkids every week. I missed one weekend, and when I came back, my 1-year-old granddaughter grew 6 inches. Okay, I exaggerate, but it seems that way!

The older we get, the more we realize how precious our kids are.

Nobody gets it 100% right, but our family is the legacy we leave, and efforts are to be made to make it first. We have lots of goals, ambitions, and dreams. Many are good. But if they take priority over being present with those we love, we will ultimately regret those choices.

There are logistical challenges. Of course we have to go to work. Of course we have responsibilities.

Often it’s at the expense of being at the kids’ games, concerts, or graduations. But I hope you’ll join me in my commitment to do everything I can to “choose time.”
