Broken. Messed-up. Full of Mistakes.
If these are a few of the words you've attached to yourself at one time or another, you wouldn't be alone. I had worked so hard in attempting this radio thing, to be told almost 3 years in that I really shouldn't be doing radio, that I had "no place" in radio. I felt at a loss, that maybe my past slip-ups really made me not "worthy" to share Jesus on the air, and I almost did give up.
Yet, I was reminded by some wonderful mentors and friends that the brokenness I went through in life, the messiness of not being a "perfect" human being, actually made me qualified to share the amazing, never-ending love of Christ with those around me, on AND off the air!
This latest song from Plumb hopefully will remind you of that too - that we're all broken and God can use us all in it!
2 Corinthians 12:9 - "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
