Okay, I’ve had this question a lot lately!  “Where did you go?”

I’ve been off the air here at KVNE for a couple of weeks so I do understand the question. Here’s the answer.  First, I went to Las Vegas to be part of a Sharathon (it’s like a Praise Share) It’s something I do all over the country and I really love it.  I get to fly into a city, work with the on air team at the local Christian station and help them raise their funds, then fly back home.  Thanks to Troy and KVNE for letting me continue to do that.  Did I mention that I started that week by celebrating my birthday with my girls and friends?  It was great fun. Then the week of working with the crew at SOS radio there.

Trying to get home,  my daughters and I had a wreck on the way to the airport to fly home…in a RENTAL car.  Great news is everyone is pretty much okay and it wasn’t our fault…and it’s a RENTAL! But we missed our flight home, and they couldn’t get us on one together…so, I had the girls fly home on one flight and then about 8 hours later I got to fly home.  But, hey! we made it! And I didn’t even tell you bout the fire in the studio during our broadcast – a story for another day.

That’s one week of being gone…the other week, I’m admitting I have been ill.  I’ve been dealing with urgent care, emergency rooms and doctors for the past week and am grateful for every single one of them.  I’m hoping to have relief this week and then I’m coming back on air just in time for KVNE’s Praise Share!

So, in answer to the question, “Where did you go?”  I’m still here and I’m staying…and I can’t wait to tell you more about how God has been working! He always is, even in the times in our life when we struggle.  He’s promised that He is always working for our best!
