Worn

I was driving to work today and heard the song “Worn” by Tenth Avenue North in my car and I thought “Yeah, I am so wiped out.” But, it’s not just the physical weariness that we feel at times. It’s the weariness of war, the weariness of the day-to-day struggle that we face to live this life on earth and to take each step in God’s will! To know that we’re making a difference in God’s kingdom! To know that the enemy is not getting a stronghold in our lives and in the lives of those we love. Well, the lyrics refreshed my mind and my heart soared again to know with certainty that REDEMPTION WINS IN THE END! No matter what, when we profess Christ, he is with us every step of the way. And he will be there in the end, which will be a glorious new beginning!

Revelation 21:1-27

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
