The start of a new week, and the beginning of another NEW MUSIC SHOWDOWN. This time, we’re shining the spotlight on some ladies of Christian music. To be quite honest, we just added 6 New Songs to our list of currents, so we probably won’t add a new one for another week or so, but I still would LOVE to know what your thoughts are and which one should be next on the list! Make sure to VOTE by leaving a comment below (and maybe some of your thoughts about each song).
In one corner is a lady who just celebrated a renewal in her marriage that almost fell apart. To celebrate, Plumb wrote her new song, “One Drop,” bringing to life the idea of hope and the possibility of just one bit of it really changing whatever the ugly situation is in your life.
In the other corner is a newlywed Texas gal who wants to make sure everyone knows they are loved by our Father God. As Dara Maclean says in an interview, “This (song) is for the lonely, the hurting, and the ones who feel completely ‘too far away’.”

Both are good, but my vote is for Plumb “One Drop”. 🙂
I liked Dara’s “Wanted” better mainly because I like her voice a little better than Plumb’s. Both songs had good messages though.

I love One Drop by Plumb. It’s the perfect happy upbeat summer song!
Dara has a most awesome message of God’s gracious love for all … my vote is for Dara’s “Wanted”!
