I have a 22 year old son, so when I saw this video by Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson, it really hit home. We often give advice to our kids and we get the classic eye roll or “I know, Mom!”

Sadie is relatable and her ideas come from the perspective of a peer. It could be awkward, but Sadie’s 5-second rule can save someone from a lifetime of regret.

I’m sharing this with my son today, and I may get the eye roll, but I know it’ll be worth it.
