It’s always interesting to see what becomes viral on the internet…and no, I’m not talking about the Red Cup Scandal of 2015! Let’s delve into the life of Joey & Rory Feek, a Country Music couple who’ve been married for a few years, and just last year had a little girl, Indiana, who was born with Down Syndrome. They knew challenges would come with their baby girl, but decided to trust in God and His guidance.

After getting a hold of that change in life, another change came barreling through: Joey was diagnosed with cervical cancer. They tried everything they could to no prevail. They decided as a family to stop chemo and enjoy the days Joey had left. A picture is circulating the internet, with Rory attaching this statement in his blog, “This Life I Live”:

“We prayed.  We all prayed.

God answered.

At 4 am on Friday morning we rushed Joey to the hospital in Muncie.  Her pain had become too much to bare.  A few hours later the doctors told us that the pain was from the cancer tumors continuing to grow and become inflamed and we need to concentrate now on helping her be comfortable.

Not the answer we hoped for… but the answer He has given us.”
