Hey, it’s Mike from beautiful downtown Forney. It’s actually residential and it’s no more beautiful than any other town, but that’s what you say when you’re talking about your town.

Just thought I’d show you around a little bit – the place. Ya know, we moved here three years ago this month. Can you believe that? People say “Why did you move?” I’ll tell you in a minute.

I used to drive every day and my central nervous system couldn’t handle it, so now we live here on the weekends. So I thought I’d show you what I’ve been doing for the last three years. You see that beautiful tree there? Yeah, it’s beautiful alright. It started to take over the yard. I’ve got a chainsaw. I’m going to cut it back a little bit. Hahaha! Oh I’ve got a chainsaw, but you can bet somebody else is going to cut it back! What am I? Crazy? We don’t want anybody to get hurt!

Just thought I’d show you the reason we moved. Welcome to our home in Forney. There’s my lovely wife and life partner, Lois! She’s probably wondering why I didn’t tell her that I was having people over.

These guys right here! See him? That’s Owen. He’s five. He rocked our world. He’s creative, imaginative, cracks me up, makes me cry at the same time. Owen is five.

Parker is three. He actually built that car. He knows his numbers. He knows his letters. He knows his Jesus songs already. He moved back to Tyler when we moved here, but I don’t take it personally. I love Parker. He is such a sweet kid.

And then there’s Elliott. She’s a little bit of a drama queen. Is that not the prettiest face you’ve seen in your life?!

Owen. Parker. Elliott. That’s the reason we moved. Children. They’re a gift from God, a reward from Him, so be present!
