The word, “SALE” can make any person, man or woman, perk their ears up for a listen. If you can get the best deal ever on that riding lawn-mower you’ve been waiting on for awhile, or that line of makeup you usually steer away from because of the price tag, then why wouldn’t you! And what’s better–grabbing a low-low price on presents for the relatives right now.
Thanks to the Savings Experiment, they point out that July is actually a month with some Black Friday-like sales to jump on (if your budget allows, as Dave Ramsey, and Mike Harper, would say). Here are a few things to watch for:
~Toys R Us has been known to offer “free shipping through Saturday” during some weeks in July, as well as “buy one, get one 50 percent off” on toys.
~QVC also offers an annual Black Friday in July event. You can find slashed prices during its ‘Today’s Special Value’ segment.
~Target has a long running Back in Black sale, which can be accessed at Target.com/blackfriday. Here, you can get up to 40 percent off electronics, furniture, DVDs, baby items and more. Early shoppers can even snag deals on certain products days before the official sale launches.
