The entire population could go to the beach and reach out their hands to be filled with sea water. Each person could take as much as they wanted, as much as they needed – and still the ocean would remain unchanged. It’s might and power would be the same, the life in its depths would continue unchanged, even though it had supplied every person that put their hands it the water.
What a perfect example of God. He can be everywhere at once, heeding the prayers of all who call out to Him. God can make mighty miracles that keep the stars in place, the plants growing in the earth, and all the fish in the sea. In other words, God has no limit! There is no limit to his wisdom. There is no limit to his power. There is no limit to His love. There is no limit to His mercy.
Zephaniah 3:17 – For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
When you feel overwhelmed, remember that God has no limits. He is always there for us in the good times and the pain.
