This morning when I was getting ready for the day, I looked outside and saw a beautiful fat and happy squirrel in our huge live oak tree.
Yes, we see squirrels all the time in East Texas. This morning, I watched this creature play among the tree branches without any cares! He was quite the acrobat and seemed to be as happy as a clam.
I watched him for quite a while, trying to keep up with him as he jumped to and fro. Then he led my eyes to his nest. It was big and I’m sure he took pride with his home.
How did that precious squirrel know to build himself a home? It struck me how God had put the instinct in that squirrel. God is taking care of him. It reminded me of how our heavenly Father takes such care with everything He has created.
It’s amazing to be a part of God’s creation where everything has a meaning and purpose. I feel it is my purpose to share God’s love! One way He does that through me is because He put me at KVNE. I know my Father is taking care of me and teaching me more about His love every day. I just hope I’m making Him proud.
“Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” – Matthew 6:26
