If you have grandkids and are able to pour into their lives, you are indeed blessed. My grandson Owen is 5. He asked me if God can make invisible ghosts. “Invisible ghosts?” Yes, “invisible ghosts.”

In all the grandfatherly wisdom I could muster, I answered, “Well, God is invisible, in a good way. We can’t see Him, but we know He’s there.”

“Yeah, but can he make invisible ghosts?”

Now I’m beginning to see it as a great opportunity for a spiritual life lesson.

“Yes, the Holy Spirit is invisible, and He helps us.”

Finally, I could see he was getting a little agitated. He leaned in, looked me in the eyes, and reiterated, slowly and distinctly. “No… Invisible. Goats.“
