It’s time once again to give you some sneak peeks, more info, and the lyric video you were looking for for new songs added this week to our ever-growing KVNE playlist. As always, these songs were voted on by our Music Crew, which if you’re NOT part of right now, you can change that by following the link HERE!

Micah Tyler, “Even Then”

First off, a HUGE congrats to this guy – he’s been nominated for 2 Dove Awards, Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year and Song of the Year (for “Different”)! After a year of a lot of trials and heartache (flooding from Hurricane Harvey, Grandma Ill, brother being diagnosed with cancer), this news is probably just what he needed. And so has this latest song! As he wrote online:

“This song has become the one that my heart continually finds rest with because we know that the promises of God are true in the good times and bad. We walk by faith knowing that He has gone before us. And if God is for us, no matter how hard our days might be, we can trust Him EVEN THEN! Hoping this song will give you rest and remind you of the conquering, beautiful, loving faithful friend we have in Jesus.”

And everyone said AMEN!!

Francesca Battistelli, “The Breakup Song”

Fear – it’s something a lot of us know too well. And it’s a topic that artists like Zach Williams, Skillet, and now Francesca Battistelli, feel needs to be addressed. She had a chance to write this one with Bart Millard (of MercyMe), really wanting to remind you and I that fear doesn’t have any power over us…unless we give it power.

Matt Maher, “What a Friend”

If you’ve ever wanted to have a revival in your car every 4 hours, just wait for this song to be played on KVNE 🙂 Definitely a lot of clapping hands, stomping feet (unless your driving), and singing along to a song that is a little different from Matt’s style, but not at all from his message. While doing the husband and father thing, he’ll also be busy on the road in a few days with Cory Asbury (“Reckless Love”), followed by The Bible Tour, and then heading to the Belcher Center (with a special guest) in November!!

Lauren Daigle, “You Say”

If you don’t get chills from the first 30 seconds of the song, I don’t know if we can be friends (just kidding…a little). But really, this is as raw and real as you’re going to get from Lauren, and maybe it’s exactly how raw and real you’ve been feeling. It’s the first single off her new mix of music coming out Sept. 7th (which you can pre-order now), and here’s the music video for it:
