Well awesome KVNE listeners and family, these are the final new music adds for the 2017 year, thanks to you and your thoughts (and votes) through our KVNE Music Crew! If you STILL haven’t signed-up, you can do so right HERE (and really, we would love for you to be part of the Crew so we know what to add for 2018)! And yes, we’ll have a few new original Christmas Songs added in the next few weeks…but besides them, we’ll see you with new regular-scheduled music in January.

Until then, here’s a little info and a couple of videos for the 4 new ones from Micah Tyler, Tenth Avenue North, Jordan Feliz, and new artist Hannah Kerr!

 

Jordan Feliz, “Witness”

Jordan is finishing this year on a strong note with a strong song in “Witness” and touring with a strong artist (Matthew West). 2017 was one full of hits for Jordan, God using his songs like “Never Too Far Gone” and “Beloved” to remind people that He sees us differently then we ever see ourselves. But with this track, the message delves more into what to do next as a Follower of Christ! Here’s Jordan explaining the thoughts (and heart) behind “Witness”:

Tenth Avenue North, “Control”

The guys of Tenth Ave have once again put a powerhouse of a song out that hits you (or at least me) right in the gut. And to hear a little more of that gut-check, here’s lead-singer Mike Donehey (which I’ve said before and will always say…if this music thing doesn’t work, Mike needs to be a Pastor)

 

Micah Tyler, “Different”

This great guy from a little town in Texas has been able to do some BIG things this year, currently touring with the big dogs, Big Daddy Weave, and now releasing his first-ever CD of the same name as this single, “Different.” Micah not only has gone through big things this year, but recently hard things as well, which he shares at the beginning of this video for such a powerful song. Warning: be prepared to “have something in your eye.”

 

Hannah Kerr, “Warrior”

Hannah Kerr first stepped onto the airwaves last year with 2 Christmas songs we decided to add into our KVNE Christmas Music rotation. But this lady (whose been mentored by no other then members of Casting Crowns) has grown into her own this year, with a powerful song in “Warrior.” She may be young, but her pipes (and heart for our Father God) say something different!
