We could all use a little peace. Okay, a lot of peace. The world can seem less peaceful every day.

There’s a reason for that. It’s why it’s called “the world.” Jesus told us, “In this world you will have trouble.” So, knowing this to be true, we’re no longer surprised by crisis.

He told us He’s our peace. He not only gives peace, He IS peace. So rather than try to live up to an impossible set of standards, rest in Him. Don’t strive to get peace.

He told us His grace is sufficient. With that grace comes a sweet peace so deep and so wonderful, it passes our understanding!

Oh yeah. He told us that, too!

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33
