Oh how we love getting a chance to bring you new music every few weeks, especially music that maybe has impacted us and could impact you in a positive way. Now, just a heads-up, we do have a few newbies to the mix, so feel free to let me know what you think…and sign-up to be part of our KVNE Music Crew to REALLY let us know what your thoughts are on the music. We Are Messengers, “Everything Comes Alive”

If you hear lead singer Darren’s heart and music style now, you would’ve never known he started life pushing God away and rocking away in a very heavy-metal band up to only a few years ago. But now Darren and his wife, Heidi (both from Ireland), have joined a few friends to begin the band We Are Messengers, to bring the amazing, transforming love of Christ to others who either need this reminder or need to know of it for the first time.

Big Daddy Weave, “My Story”

After 16 years of making music, Big Daddy Weave is still putting out tracks that are jam-filled and worship-filled at the same time. This latest is off their Beautiful Offerings project, and has an ever-favorite hymn in the mix of it! They’ll be touring soon with Plumb and newcomer (and KVNE favorite) Jordan Feliz

Hollyn, “Alone”

TobyMac and his creative crew may make some killer music tracks, but they also know how to find some pretty awesome talent for their record label, Gotee. They’ve got a stream of great lady musicians, including Jamie Grace and Morgan Harper Nichols, and now you can include this 19 year old from Ohio! Hollyn will be touring with Toby and others on the Hits Deep Tour, showing off her heart for Christ (and maybe some dance moves…or maybe you’ll be dancing…either way, fun times)

Chris Tomlin, “He Shall Reign Forevermore”

If you’ve ever heard the song “How Many kings” by the group Downhere, then you know we play it all throughout the year even though most stations only play it for Christmastime. Well, the tradition continues with a worship leader who knows no introduction. Chris Tomlin released this song for Christmas, but once you hear it you KNOW it’s one that anyone could worship to at anytime in the year. A beautiful combination of instruments and a choir makes this praise song come alive in such a vibrant way!
