Jonathan Roumie must get that a lot. The actor portraying Jesus in “The Chosen” is very effective in his role. But it’s more than his appearance. His manner is also quite convincing.

He’s patient, he’s kind, he doesn’t envy, he doesn’t boast. You get the picture. He portrays Jesus in such a loving, engaging, believable way. It makes for a very attractive character.

How about that? The character is Jesus! And all those traits he exudes are traits we too can emanate.

Ask the real Jesus to shine through you. You may not look like Jonathan Roumie…

But you’ll look like Jesus.
