This may look like an ordinary picture of our back yard, but it represents a very special moment.
I came home this morning after playing a gig last night in Tyler. My Lovely Wife And Life Partner Lois greeted me with a birthday cake, a birthday card, and a birthday kiss. I felt like a king!
As if that wasn’t enough, she then gave me an attractive new drumstick bag. Inside was a receipt saying that coming soon to a drum set near me is a giant, brand new, shiny 24” Zildjian cymbal!
I did not see that coming! She totally nailed it!
I got a bit emotional as I held her tight. At that moment I looked out this window, and you can’t tell by the photo, but it actually started snowing! It was like a Hallmark movie!
It may seem like a small thing, but to me, it genuinely felt like God gave me those few minutes to say, “I really do love you!”
