Following Christ

I know what it’s like to follow Christ and I know what it’s like to rely on my own understanding. Following Jesus will undoubtedly bring some pain, persecution, and loneliness. But Jesus promises a long-range peace that passes our understanding. So, I can choose to go it alone, which also guarantees pain. Or I can choose to go through it with Him. I choose Hope.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all ^[a]comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:7
